Ladyseed at Rivanna Oct 3-4 Places Still Available

On the weekend of October 3-4 Project Appleseed will hold its first Ladyseed event ever in Virginia at Rivanna Rifle & Pistol Club in Charlottesville. The event is limited to women only, and all instructors will be women.

If the women in your life, both adult and youth, are interested in learning to shoot rifles well but like many are not comfortable learning new skills around a bunch of rowdy, uncouth Bubbas like us, this is the perfect event for them. We have several mother-daughter teams already signed up.

The course of fire is shot at 25 meters. Rifles in .22LR caliber are recommended especially for beginners, being low in cost, noise and recoil. If you do not have a suitable rifle we have some loaners available which can be requested on the online registration form.

As you know, the satisfaction of learning how to handle a rifle with skill and safety ranks up there with the best feelings in life. Sending your womenfolk to this shoot, perhaps even with your rifle (or get her one of her own), is an act that should earn you major brownie points.
