The science on global warming is settled, so settled that 20 climate scientists are asking President Barack Obama to prosecute people who disagree with them on the science behind man-made global warming.

Scientists from several universities and research centers even asked Obama to use the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) to prosecute groups that “have knowingly deceived the American people about the risks of climate change, as a means to forestall America’s response to climate change.”

Better be careful what they wish for.

Uncle Joe Stalin and Chairman Mao would be proud and pleased to know that we finally came over to their way of doing things.

Whatever happened to the deniers' First Amendment rights to be just as wrong as hell and still state their opinions?

Thought processes like that should make a body suspicious of the ability of these "scientists" to come to rational scientific conclusions.

So, let's put the terroristic anti-American behaviour aside for a second... Don't these idiot scientists realise that we don't beleave them because they have presented ZERO evidence that there is any man-made climate change and the data that has been presented proved that the current weather cycles and patterns are tracking perfectly with what earth has been doing for that last 10,000 years!

The only man-made climate change is in any vehicle or building with some kind of HVAC system. Everything else is BS.

Just make sure you don't confuse local weather patterns with local climate.
There is a definite difference.
The man made smog in many large cities around the world have changed the local weather but the climate has not changed much.

I remember a case about 50 years ago where a strip mining operation in the Dakotas (North IIRC) was required to replace the material they had removed from over the mine because the mountain they had built was affecting the state's weather patterns.

Quite a while ago an Indian work acquaintance told me that the scientists in India were puzzled because a rain forest was completely cut down to provide new well watered crop land and the area became a desert. (no rain) My first thought was they cut down all the vegetation that was producing the water vapor that later became the rain.

The Farmers Almanac has been predicting the weather with great accuracy for centuries; since long before the industrial revolution. They can predict the weather a year from now better than the weather man can predict tomorrow's weather. They have been using the same method all this time.

If man made global climate change were a real thing, their system would be completely screwed up. But, it isn't.
