OK, so I would like to know why my post of August 27 was not added to the thread "America's eerie parallels to fall of Rome" in the politics section after I hit the submit button? Is there something in the post which was not allowed? Asking a moderator or someone else who can trace the post> Thanks.

I had those forums set to require moderation of "new user" posts. I have relaxed this restriction and approved your posts. Sorry for the confusion.
When I added the "new user" type, there were (and probably still are) a few forums with restrictive permissions on new users (under 10 posts).
Let me know if you experience any other problems.

Thanks, Rick. I've approved a few of those posts when I see the exclamation point icon on the list of new posts. Any way the mods can get a PM or email alert for those?

Implemented - thanks again for the suggestion, Jay. This will help me weed out any other forums that have incorrect permissions, and also will help us know when a post is reported for some reason.
