Flamethrower Sales Booming!

This steadily-growing
Flamethrower hype makes me feel adequately prepared for winter BBQs. At $900, they're a steal!
Although, I will most likely need mine predominantly for insect control, or lighting my cigars.

Can the left document a single robbery or crime committed with one?

I love this statement"
"My concern is that flamethrowers in the wrong hands could cause catastrophic damage either to the person who is using it or more likely to the person who is being targeted,"
Yes, I would definitely say the person being targeted is more likely to be catastrophically damaged.

Hy guys, the flamethrower sounds very interesting. But does anybody have any idea where or how to buy it? Only on-line? Do you know somebody around Virginia who already bought it?
Would be good to hear some suggestions.
Thanks a lot,
James

I have a good friend that is an engineer. He has been saying for several years now that the first thing he is going to build when he retires in '16 is to build a Flamethrower. I have seen a lot of his projects over the years and I have no doubt it will be Awesome!

I don't think the wife would let me get one!

Lester; it is important to always remember that compromise is an essential element in every relationship.
In this situation, I would recommend an 'if/then' statement, which theoretically always seems to facilitate the use of mutual compromise and agreement, seen below:
If you are able to procure a very economically sound flamethrower tool (aka - responsible family investment), then your wife will be free to continue to nag you for an additional X amount of years.
Now that sounds like a win/win if you ask me.
By the way, you will find an excellent tombstone engraving company
HERE. They come very highly recommended, so I'm told.

Mike, I hear you. My wife and I do have an understanding. What I send on guns and ammo, she gets to spend the same amount on whatever she wants. I tried the logic that our firearms and ammo is for home protection and should not be counted as "what I spend" but sadley, she does not see it that way! I could always just go get one and say it's our new weedeater!

Remember, it's always easier to ask for forgiveness, than for permission

I just told my own wife, "Hey, I wanna get a flamethrower. " And she responded, "No. You can not have a flamethrower. I'll get you a can of Rave hair spray and a lighter."
"But Honey, a flamethrower is a firearm. Literally."
"No", she says, "it's an arm of fire."
I'll keep working on her. She'll come around. She'll like it once I have it.

Well, that was quick. She caved already.
She said that as long as the bills are paid and she still gets to go to the spa, I can have a flamethrower. But, she added that I have to let her play with it.

That's pretty sweet H , I do believe that you have got yourself a keeper! I have about 2 acres of brush I am going to clear this winter to make space for a Skeet Range. You can bring the Wife and the Flamethrower and give us a demonstration!

Funny thing; most kids hear their parents telling them not to play with matches. My father, on the other hand, was teaching me how to eat fire.
TBH caved so quickly, I think, because it dawned on her that flamethrowes ARE cool, and she realized that she wants one, too. I guarantee... if I buy a flamethrower, she will refer to it as HER new toy.
Randy, in the event that I can scrounge the funds together to get one, I will gladly help you clear brush. But, there's some other things that require my attention, first, lol.
