Walmart Ends Sales of "Assault-Style" Rifles

Wally World is ending the sale of "Assault-Style Rifles" (
Article Here) in its U.S. stores.
It's really of no consequence to me, as any and all Walmarts in my surrounding area do not even sell firearms. However, this quote by the so-called "Gun Control Experts," whoever they are, is always disheartening.
Gun control experts said they hoped the decision would prompt other major retailers, like Dick’s Sporting Goods and Cabela’s, to follow suit.
This is a long shot....but I suppose anything is possible. Lets hope for the best, per usual.

If they're such experts on gun control, how come they're failing at it?

This is just your typical knee-jerk corporate reaction to an imaginary problem. I support Wal-Mart's decision since it will force buyers to take their business to local gun shops.

My understanding was that it was the lack of sales that prompted the decision, which would be understandable but would make the "experts" comments to have a basis in a false premise.

When was the last time(or maybe first time) that a gun control expert said anything that was true?

When they published their incremental agenda to confiscate and ban all private ownership of firearms. There is the truth.

At this point? They're idiots. You're a Redneck Mecca, and you stopped selling Confederate Flags, and Semi-auto rifles to appease.... WHO?!!? You think your "alternative" customers are gonna keep supporting you? I beg to differ, most of them are stealing you blind.

Those assault style rifles are scary looking. That makes them more lethal. They're even lethal-er if you use them while wearing black cargo pants.

I'm cheering them on. I've said before they are too damned big, and like you, I figure this might serve to cut them down to size.

YEP! Let them "Choose...Poorly". Appease Rednecks, Hillbillies, and Country Folk, we're steadfast in our loyalties, even to the point of stupidity.

This guy wasn't even using an Assault Rifle . So since Walmart doesn't sell pistols , I guess they can say they will stop selling Assault Rifles to get a little news coverage !

Honestly, who the heck is buying an AR from a chain store? You are getting ripped off, the prices are so high. Why would I buy an entry-level Bushmaster at Wally World for $1,100 when I cam get it at the local gun store for $650?
