What if decapitation killer had chosen a gun instead?

Imagine how much worse the death toll could have been if the mentally ill man accused in Phoenix of decapitating his wife and pets, had chosen a gun instead of a knife.

In Arizona, that would have been easy for him to do.

Forty-three-year-old Kenneth Dale Wakefield is locked up on $2 million bond after being charged with one count of first-degree murder and two counts of animal cruelty. Investigators say he murdered Trina Heisch and their two dogs and stashed the bodies in a closet.

Since it was targeted victims, he could have killed them over and over. Or, if he took out his eye with a gun there would have been no arrest.

So, let me get this straight... this guys is in fact 100% batshit crazy, should have never been released from the prison ward of the mental health hospital because he is a massive danger to himself and others, he kills another mentally ill person who also had a history of violence, killed two dogs, tore his own eye out, chopped off his own left hand. All of that massive FAIL, and the best the writer could come up with is continuing demonize guns by using something that had absolutely, positively NOTHING TO DO WITH GUNS????

I saw a 4 car pile-up on the highway today. Two people died, including a guy on a motorcycle (not really). Imaging how much worse it would have been if the guy who caused the accident was drunk! We need to completely ban car, driving and alcohol. I mean, look how easy just about anyone can buy a 40 Bud and get behind the wheel!

I've got a friend railing on the proliferation of guns after the recent airsoft shooting in the Tennessee theatre.
Only people with guns in that situation appear to have been the cops.
