And this is why, when my wife says "Do you have to carry that gun everywhere as you walk around the house?", the answer is YES!

Our doors are locked, all the time. Car doors, house doors, garage doors.
If I walk out to check out why the dogs are barking, I shut the locked back door behind me. If I go out to check the mail box, I shut the locked front door behind me. And yes, I have the CZ P09 on me for both.
If I'm mowing/trimming, the house is locked up, the garage doors are shut/locked and I have the P07.
If I'm changing the oil/oil filter in one of the vehicles I have the P07 on me. That's what I bought it for. To be with me, rain, shine, cold, heat/sweat (man, do I sweat), in the garden, on dog walks, working on the cars, trimming bushes, dragging tree limbs to the burn pile, etc., etc., etc.
The one time you leave it behind makes all the times you carried it meaningless if you need that gun that one time.

Glock 19 with two G17 spare mags on the street. Glock 42 or Kel-Tec P32 with one spare mag around the house. Since I got the 42 (for the wife!) it's almost always with me instead of the P32.
