BO - Caitlyn is brave - soldier not mentioned

Last night flipping the TV controller we heard that BO felt Caitlyns courage was worth mentioning but he failed to mention a word about a soldier shown in a photo that had lost the lower part of both legs.

Not sure about the truth or tale of all this but it was on TV as indicated.

BO is a disgusting puke and needs to be removed from office. We cannot stand another 479 days of his actions.

What I want to know is, if you are going to go through all that pain and spend all that money, can't you at least be a pretty girl? :hysterical:

I refuse to refer to Bruce Jenner as anything other than Bruce.

Chopping down the wood and putting on a dress doesn't make one a woman. Dna says he's still male. That won't change.

Lmao, I don't know. I don't know much about the guy. Keeping up with Bruce Jenner isn't exactly on the top of my list of priorities; especially not when it comes to personal equipment inventories.

Keep in mind there is a difference between sex and gender. Sure, Jenner can't do anything at the biological level to change his sex, but if his brain is wired to align with the female gender then that's what he's going to do. I say live and let live. Don't know what he did to deserve an ESPY for courage though, but we hand out peace prizes to people with no accomplishments and economic Nobel prizes to people who think government deficits are good.

As for Obama's 479 days, you still have 8 years of Hillary after that. Time for another drink.

my dictionary says...
: the state of being male or female; Sex
If you act like a woman or have a psychotic break and believe you are a woman, a woman does your behavior not make.

You can have all the surgery you want... you will still be a dude. If you think otherwise, though open minded, you would be wrong.

Why can people just be happy with what little baby Jesus made you?

Psychologically wanting to be the other sex is a mental disorder and needs to be treated as such. It has for a long time. No need to change now. Same with homosexuality. It was in DSM as a mental disorder or mental illness and was handled that way. Political pressure in the 70's got them to remove homosexuality from the psychology manual. Complete politics, nothing scientific at all.

Personally I don't believe there is such a thing as normal as it is subjective only to the society which defines it. But I can say for certain it is not a mental disorder, it is as anything else having to do with thought brought on by a series of events that have led to it being a part of the person. The same can be said for spirituality or lack of, favorite foods or colors, and fetishes. The factors leading up to it are often forgotten but sometimes not, such as with attacks from various sources.

As for whether homosexuality is normal or not is irrelevant but I know that even as a young boy through now I never showed much interest in girls, so what if anything caused me to be gay has been long forgotten. But there is no harm in it and as a matter of fact I find it to be a unique experience.

And as for Ms. Caitlyn, the same could be said. But I feel as human beings it is our duty to support those who are helping themselves feel better while not harming anyone and to enjoy the grand comedy of life. I feel people often show hatred and disgust to such things because they are not understanding or otherwise ignorant or what said person is going through and so it makes them uncomfortable, so they hate or use their faith as an excuse to.

Disapproval or disagreement with someone's lifestyle does not equal hate. Even disgust isn't hate. The word hate is thrown around too much today. There are lots of lifestyle choices, etc.... that I don't agree with. I don't hate the people, even though I disapprove of their actions.

@Viper : +1

If disapproval equalled hate, many parents would hate their kids; some with a passion.
