The south has already been cleansed and is a conservative republican stronghold. Woodrow Wilson re-segregated the the federal gvt early in his presidency at the urging of the postal union. At that point the KKK and Democrats retook control of state legislatures and governors and local government in the South. At that point the Stars and Bars were raised on southern state property with segregation running rampant driven by Democrat politicians and supported by the KKK. Fritz Hollins then Governor of SC raised the Stars and Bars at the state house in the late fifties and then went on to become a US senator. Sen Russell who has the Senate office building named after him opposed the civil rights act and voters rights acts and was a fierce defender of segregation. Good old Sen Byrd from WV was a Klan recruiter and like the others a good Democrat.

The regions that are ideal and have been properly cleansed are all in Democrat hands and have been for decades but they have provided conditions for getto growth by providing lots of taxpayer goodies to those they wanted to be part of the Democrat plantation.

Remember part of the rules for radicals is to tell and repeat the big lie so many time that people forget what actually happened and then remember only the big lie. That is what is happening here.

My point was not that the article was true or the writer was correct, but that the intent was openly articulated, as if they were discussing draining a swamp. To pursue that metaphor, I expect them to find themselves up to their asses in alligators early in the attempt.

First of all, the fact that he was a Confederate President is not "the" reason there is a road named after him. You might even say it has little to do with it.

He was a wealthy farmer. He went to West Point and went into the US Army as a lieutenant. He fought in the Mexican–American War as the Colonel of a volunteer regiment. He was the U.S. Secretary of War for President Franklin Pierce, and worked as a Democratic U.S. senator from Mississippi.

Also... though he was the Confederate President, Davis argued against secession. He also believed that each State was sovereign and had an unquestionable right to secede from the Union if they so wished.

And then I read this...

Well, he was a Democrat Mississippi who owned over 100 slaves. What the hell do you expect for the time?

And since when was it a "Southern Cause"? The war wasn't over slavery. At least not as a significant part of it anyway.

To say that the War Between the States was fought over slavery, is much like claiming that the Second Amendment was written for the equivalent of todays National Guard.

I read that article and it made my blood boil... It's the truth however - everything traditional, Christian and white is being eradicated. It's cultural genocide - and I never in my wildest dreams thoguht it could happen here. We truly are being turned into a socialist elitocracy...

I am still predicting that the Republican nominee whomever that might be is going to sweep Hillary under the rug pretty soundly.
This racially inflaming garbage being spewed by the left media sources is trying to drive African American voters to the polls the way they did for Obama. You see, there is not a very large enthusiastic group that believes that Hillary will help them like they did with Obama and they are likely not to vote. The Democrats will then have to deal with just the homeless they drag in on election day and whatever dead people and illegal aliens they have registered to vote.
With a good candidate the middle of the road voter is going to go to the right the next election cycle. We started to see this in 2010 with the House race, then we saw more of it as the Senate was taken by Republicans though the liberal media swore up and down that Democrats were going to keep it even up to the day of the election.
The radicals in the 1960's paved the way for years of Republican leadership. I do believe that a similar thing is getting ready to happen.

Unbelievable. I hope they find those people and lock them up for a day or two for vandalism of Federal/State property AFTER they are forced to clean it.

Every time something like this happens, I buy another 1,000 rounds. And another flag. My son and I just started watching the Dukes of Hazzard (ordered the entire series before it's outlawed) from the beginning, and I'll be damned if he's going to be indoctrinated by the idiots proposing these stupid ideas. He's four years old and wants to know why the flag is in the news so much - I simply reply "There are a lot of ignorant people out there, son." If they keep this up, it's going to be a battle flag beside the Gadsden flag on a battlefield that's all too real in the very near future...

They like to deny history and claim southerners are monsters, well I'd like to tell them of sherman's march to the sea and ask them who is really the monster here? He killed women and children and was condoned and commended by licoln. Obviously it is the union that is the monster not those protecting their family and livelyhood!
