I want line-item voting

There seems to be so much baggage with each candidate I suggest we implement line-item voting.

Put the major issues into a question that can be answered with a for - against vote and distribute to the general public.

Illegal immigration
National security
Confederate flag
Gun control
84 oz soft-drinks
Speed limits
Same sex marriage
Health care
Business tax breaks
Politician time in office

...and the list goes on...

While that may never happen, an alternative vote or runoff voting method might be what you're looking for.

I have seen politicians send out questionaires with various issues on them. Supposedly to get a feel for the constituents on issues. However, the older I get, the more cynical I get especially towards politicians. There may very well be some good intentioned people in office. However, by & large.... most congressmen, & senators are so far out of touch with working class people, & what life entails, its ridiculous. I've come to believe that most career politicians main goal is, to stay in power, & keep the system favoring them.

One thing for sure, a politician would not be able to change his mind to affect the outcome.

I do think that with any candidate their take on concerns may agree 90% with others but that 10% could make one feel like pulling a stick out of one eye and sticking it in the other.
