Lets see - Drinking, past midnight, firearms, not taking your friend seriously.

Alcohol and guns NEVER mix, nothing good happens after midnight when alcohol is involved, and when someone wonders aloud whether there is one in the chamber . . . well, this is the result.

Said it before - one alcoholic beverage disqualifies me from handling a firearm. Hopefully he didn't have time to procreate.

Weird. I was drinking, last night. A friend removed the magazine from his Glock, and handed it to me. I, too, questioned aloud if there was a round in the chamber.

However, I just assumed that there was, kept my finger off the trigger, and made sure to keep it pointed in a safe direction.

This guy, he was probably an idiot when sober. I am somewhat amazed that he made it 49 years.

All signs at the scene point to the shooting being an accident.
