Supreme Court Makes Major Gun Ruling

WASHINGTON (AP) — A unanimous Supreme Court ruled Monday that the government can’t prevent a convicted felon who is barred from possessing firearms from trying to sell his guns after they are confiscated by authorities.

Makes sense to me. He can't legally keep them but if he acquired them legally prior to becoming a felon why shouldn't he get his money (or at least some of it) out of them?

They still got it wrong. He should be allowed to sell them because they are his personal property - period. The Court has no business being "satisfied" that he will not be allowed access to them via the new buyer. That issue is already covered under existing law.
