Talking about the gun shows reminded me of this little ditty.... Went to a show a few years ago and ended up talking with the owner of a shop, and was lamenting the fact that I never saw any decent SVTs... he had one on the table but it wasn't complete... to which he replied "Well, I have one myself that I'm thinking about getting rid of... " So I ended up finally getting one.
Cool little piece of history.
