As expected, Rand Paul tosses his hat into the 2016 ring

I'm trying really hard to get excited about the Cruz vs. Paul political slugfest on the horizon, but it's just not happening for me. At least not yet, anyway. I wish they made a little red pill for this. I guess I could always try the blue pill, but I need more than four hours to get through this one.
So, here we go. Again.

If you think either cares,
they have suckered you.
Just sayin'...

Eh. He's probably the only one that'll get me to vote R. We'll see how it goes.

Paul gets me more excited than Cruz does, but not much and not by much. Gonna wait and see.

I'm not going to bother getting excited about anyone. The guy most likely to lose to Hillary (who has the personality and temperament of a rattlesnake) is going to get the nomination, anyway.
I'm guessing Jeb, unless the GOP manages to find a lamer candidate.
It just occurred to me that I'm getting a bit pessimistic, these days.

There is more than enough lameness in today's GOP pool. Huckabee, Santorum, Rubio, I could go on. Just one problem, none of those guys have the last name
Bush.

Yeah, the last name is hard to beat.
Don't get me wrong; I think that the Bush's are fine people, I just think that they are wrong on key issues, and bend too easily on the issues they they are right about.
I like Huckabee alright, too. Just not in the Whitehouse. He would have done well to keep his show on Fox, and take satisfaction in that.
I guess we got a few months to see what happens.

I can say I have not been excited about a Republican since 1984 . I do like Rand Paul and think he could do great things for this poor country of ours. There's a long way to go in this horse race , we will just have to see how this play's out. I've also been thinking that John Kasich could be a possible player !

The media is launching an all-out attack on Paul that brings back memories of what they did to Sarah Palin. The problem is, Rand Paul is very likely going to lose it and go nutso like his old man. He's already getting grumpy during press interviews.
In any case, it should be interesting to watch.
