Thanks for posting the link. I caught part of this in the wee hours on the Outdoor Channel. People like the Prof. from Purdue Univ. who did the study and Massad Ayoob talking common sense aimed protecting lives and reducing deaths and maiming. Predictable socialist bull*hiters taking a position reflecting ignorance, leftist agenda or just idiocy thru emotional over reaction. On mass shooters, Massad Ayoob's analysis was really notable.
Back in the 1980's the DOJ commissioned a study to examine the mindset of criminals in prison. On criminals fears, getting shot by a LEO was number 2. Their No. 1 worst fear was getting shot by an armed civilian - because citizens are not constrained by the need to make an arrest or rules of engagement.

OBTW - There is no direct down load of the program.
You have to use a video capture/downloader add-on to your browser.
It would depend upon your hardware and what browser you are using.
In my case I'm running a Windows 7 system with Chrome.
In Chrome I've added an extension called "FVD Video Downloader 6.6.4" which will show a green downward pointing arrow if the page I'm displaying has links in it to downloadable content. Clicking on that arrow causes a pulldown list to appear and I can choose what I want downloaded then a progress bar appears at the bottom of the Chrome window showing progress and time left to completion.
There are similar add-ons/plugins for FireFox and IE.
