I always did think that whole deal was even bigger fake than "Sons of Guns". That guy acted to me like somebody took him out of a jewelry shop and gave him a gun store. Interesting that the proceedings are sealed. Perhaps it is justified, but it is worrisome.

I have to agree the TV show wasn't much too see. I can say that they are some mighty fine gun smiths !!! I sent an old Fox 12 ga. side x side to them and was contacted in several days by Kurt ( son ) and given a price . I was told at that time that because of the condition of the gun they would do their best to get it back in shooting condition. 10 days later I received an email saying the gun was shipped earlier that day . When I opened it , I could not believe it was the same shotgun. They charged me $240.00 plus $22 S&H exactly what was quoted . The work they did included changing the hinge pin and major work on both sides of the hinge area. Changed both triggers and the safety slide . Blued entire gun and refinished the stock . Also replaced the forearm because all the checkering was completely worn off. I have to say I was very pleased.

Looks like the long arm of the law caught up with Richard Wyatt at Gunsmoke. The article sums up their brief stint as reality TV stars pretty well.

“American Guns,” which followed a sheltered teenage girl in a family of gunsmiths, aired on the Discovery Channel for two seasons. It canceled in 2012.
