Can't win the argument with the truth, so lets use the few most horrible times in the countries history to shock people into not protecting themselves.

I wonder how the antis would feel if we opened a care dealership and every new car buyer, we talked out of owning a car, quoting drunk driving stats and highway deaths for that specific model. Or how about a travel agency that scares of tourist by quoting airline and cruise ship fatality stats.

I know, lets open a McDonald's and every customer that comes in, we can tell them about each person who died from stroke or heart disease due to poor diet and lack of exercise... that would be fun.

Its all BS. With life, there is risk. You could be sitting at your computer reading this right now, and a meth addict hopped up on PCP can come through your door, pummel you to death, and without a gun, you would stand zero chance of survival. Or a drunk driver could crash into your house and kill you with his car. Or you could have a stoke... you know, just because.

You can't live life in fear. This propaganda drives me nuts
