So? Why don't you like Buffalo Wild wings?-Asked.

Some one asked, “I heard you don’t like Buffalo Wild Wings, why is that?”
I retorted, “Oh no! Their wings are just fine. It’s their intolerance of my being able to carry my firearm onto their premise that keeps me from eating there.”
To which the non-gun owner response is “Why don’t you just put it in the car?”
Ask yourself, if you were told that you could not speak in public on a subject near and dear to your heart, because it would possibly offend someone. Or that you weren’t able to hold hands with someone you love because it could offend someone. Or that you couldn’t be in a location because of the color of your skin, or the religious garb you wore could offend someone, would you go there?
Probably not.
So why would I sacrifice my rights by choosing to support a business that is “offended” that I want to carry my firearm? Which by the way I have done so for NUMEROUS years, without cause, or incident. I stopped going to Buffalo Wild Wings immediately when I learned of their policy. I indeed love buffalo wings though.
And don’t get me wrong! I’m a fat guy, I can down some damnedable wings! I can eat so many wings, the damned chickens would need a telethon to buy them prosthetic wings! But I will not eat them at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Once more, the reason they want to keep people from carrying on their property has NOTHING to do with safety! Oh they claim that, but a former manager let me in on a lil’ secret. The REAL reason? Less alcohol sales because people who carry do not drink while carrying a firearm!
They make MORE money from the ALCOHOL than they do the FOOD, and thereby want to keep tables open for the DRINKERS!
What kills me? Seeing all those soldiers from Ft Lee going to Buffalo Wild Wings, sacrificing their lives for freedom, spending money on a place that wants to keep people from exercising their rights.
(climbs off soapbox) In closing Eff you Buffalo Wild Wings. Anyone got a suggestion of a good wing place?

It's easy to avoid Buffalo Wild Wings; I don't rightly care for chicken. And, not being a chicken enthusiast, I can't recommend anyplace.
I'd suggest a locally owned and operated, independent restaurant. I'm usually more impressed with mom'n'pop joints. There's bound to be several places like that, serving wings. At least one of them has got to be good.

I've been there twice...Both times the food was cold and the beer was warm. I don't go anywhere I can't CC , so I won't be going again ! We did get so mighty fine wings last week at the Chester Hooters ....There food has really gotten better since their remodel .

A'ight Snakester, you're the fourth person saying their food improved since the remodel. I'll give them a try!

W2B refers to Hooters as a brothel. Probably good that I don't care for wings; won't ever be tempted to go there. She'd leave me over that.

If their real motivation is alcohol sales, they should instill a 2 drink minimum or something and let gun owners do their thing.
I personally don't like BWW. I ate there twice when they first opened and before I knew the position on the 2nd Amendment. Both times the food and the service sucked. It was filled with a bunch of people that just irritated me with their behavior. They wouldn't stay seated. Scream talking and yelling at the game. Typical obnoxious behavior from drunks (No offense intended. Former drunk myself).
Then there is the price. Most places, wings are $.50 to $.80 each. The BWW by me sells them for $1.50 each... between almost double to triple the going price. If I want to get robbed, I'll go hang out at the water front in South East at 1:00 AM wearing $3,000 suit.
If you every find your way up here, I have a buddy of mine who owns Bella Vita Restaurant in Manassas, who makes some of the best wings I have had within 900 miles. I like mine well done. Mild is a nice buttery flavor with some honey and just enough spice so you remember you ordered Buffalo Wings and the hot are kick in the pants, clear your sinuous', HOT! Not, melt your taste buds and spoil your meal hot. They have flavor.

Most of the time when Carol and I go to Hooters we go for the Crab Legs instead of the Wings !

I've obviously missed something on the menu. I guess my attention was on other things.

Eh I hate them for the same reason I hate chick-fil-a because their food sucks, I could care less on their stance on social issues.

Except we *and our kids* are being told these things. The Grievance Industry calls them "micro-aggressions" and it's being taught as a way to tap into white/male/hetero/whatever guilt. (I mean, you don't want to commit an "aggression" do you?!)
If you say, "my wife" that's an aggression against gays. Say you went to church: Muslim tears. Talk about Christmas and you're an anti-Semite.
I almost got kicked out of a course at Georgetown last year for arguing with the NBPP poster-child professor about this garbage.
ANYWAY: Buffalo Wing Factory is pro-gun and makes great wings.

Um, nope. Not fancy, but I like the place. Guess the locations only work for us sandal-wearin' NoVA hippies, though.

I asked if it was satire because you said they are pro gun, when they very clearly and publicly are anti-gun, to the point that the management insisted County Police either left their sidearms and weapons in their vehicles or they needed to leave altogether.
I would hardly call that pro-gun.

I'll have to look into that. If true, I'll eat McNuggets instead (blech). I've OC'd in the Sterling and Fairfax ones on several occasions and no one batted an eye.
EDIT: I looked and that may have been the case 7 or 8 years ago, but I doubt that Ed Levine would have organized an Open Carry Dinner there last month if that were still true.

That's Buffalo Wing Factory. We're talking about Buffalo Wild Wings. Not the same company.

I believe that Buffalo Wing Factory was suggested as an alternative to Buffalo Wild Wings.
