Recently moved to the Reston, VA area from Gaithersburg, MD. Glad to have left the not so free state for greener pastures.

Cant wait to meet fellow shooters at the IDPA and KSTG matches held at the NRA Range.

Me current dilemma is what range to join near me? I have it narrowed down to Silver Eagle and NRA HQ. I work id Herndon and live in Reston. So distance and driving isnt a factor between the two. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts and recommendations.

I previously was a member AGC of Baltimore. Frequent flyer at AAFG, Peacemaker, and New Holland for their matches.

Welcome. I used to live in the Socialist Republic of MD. Glad to have you here. I live closer to Silver Eagle but cannot in good conscience shoot there due to the ownership's political leanings. I shoot at the NRA range and have been very pleased. There is also a new range in Gainesville/Manassas area called Elite Shooting Sports. I haven't been but have heard great things about it.

Since I've been shooting the KSTG and IDPA matches at the NRA range. That is the logical choice for me to become a member. Just wish match fees were included in the membership haha.
