But his go-to FFL guy got confused because he knew he already had a Spartan (but it was an STI Spartan) and so he ordered a Sig Scorpion.
Best friend also has a Colt M45A1 Close Quarters Battle Pistol (CQBP) on the wish-list that hasn't shown up, and this Scorpion looks close. So he bit the bullet and kept the Scorpion.
<sigh> Sig Spartan still on the wish-list.
EDIT: I'll post a pic of the Scorpion later - I just noticed the SN was showing on the tag and deleted the file.

Here's the pic of the Scorpion. It hasn't been to the range yet, but it may have the lightest trigger pull I've ever seen on a production 1911.
