More Micro-Management From The Overlords

Apparently, the Overlords don't like steak or root beer. Or, they really do, and want to keep it for themselves.

Freedom, I suppose, has become freedom to follow orders. Freedom from the burdens of independent and critical thinking.
Just think; when you no longer have to find a job because one will be provided for you, when you don't have to worry about a home because it's provided for you, when you don't have to worry about food because it's provided for you, you don't have to worry about a spouse because it's provided for you... how freeing! No stress! All you have to do is follow orders; don't think about it, just do it.
Freedom!
Hasn't that been done before?

Also look at "A Brave New World" and Von Hayek "The Road to Serfdom" for additional reads. ll were written at about the same time in the 40's with "Altlas Shrugged" written in the 30s
