If I see anything with "responsible" or "common sense" in it my position automatically goes to "no".

It is shocking how blatantly the Democrats want to makes us defenseless, and therefore obedient.

I fail to see what could be viewed as "responsible" about this proposal.

Assuming that this abomination passes, how would it be fully enforced? I note that folks who currently own body armor would be grandfathered in. So what prevents someone in the future, who gets caught in possession of body armor, from simply claiming that he's had it for years?

Heaven forbid we are able to defend ourselves. Another case of punishing the whole class because little Johnny shot a spitball at the teacher.

I'm firing out an email to my Representative about that.

The mentally and morally weak refuse to strengthen themselves, so they must weaken us in order improve their own chances by increasing the size of the "victim pool" for any scenario. This effort is further evidence of that. I've never understood this view, but what puzzles me more is how some manage to position this thinking as more evolved and a basis for imagined superiority.

If criminals were running around using vests.

We'd see an escalation in police response almost to the level of a military invasion.

It's a knee-jerk-Emotional Progressive/Communist response.

AKA STUPID!

Hey Marc I hate to burst your bubble but you do know who our reps are right? And you think that they are not jumping for joy to hop on this bandwagon?

An email to them will go right to the SPAM filter and never be seen by them.

Sorry I'm just sayin

This bill has little chance to make it out of committee but I would still suggest reaching out to your representative. If you look at the other bills he's introduced it's clear he;s a nut.
