My "arsenal" includes firearms passed-down from my grand-dad that hold so much sentimental value for me, I couldn't even think of getting rid of them regardless of value...

Me too WileyC! According to the coding on the barrell that shotgun was manufactured in November of 1932. The guy over at Clark Bros thinks it must have been worked on and refinished at some time. I can't say for sure, but that doesn't sound like something my grandfather would do. He wasn't the type to have things sent off "to be made purdy". Having said that - almost everyone I have shown it to thinks it's the best looking 11A they've seen that is that old outside of a private collection or museum.

On a separate note - I finally took the Lemon Squeezer to a gunsmith and got the green light to shoot it. I got goosebumps firing the thing because I know it's the gun my grandDad carried for personal protection and home defense as a young man. I shot about 30 rounds through it - not the most accurate revolver I've ever fired that's for sure, but I wasn't shooting for accuracy and besides, S&W claimed it was made for "card table distances" anyway.

Now I can say I shot all of these that were handed down to me - and from now on - they will be officially retired to the display case and/or gun vault for sentimental value only. Thanks for taking interest in my post. P.S. I'm a traditionalist - I love old guns too. Cheers...
