Looks to me like he was attempting to transfer his pistol from waist carry to coat pocket carry. Perhaps he wanted faster access to his gun while enroute to his car. Just guessing. Regardless, he flunked gun handling.

"Coat pocket carry"? That's as dumb as Plaxico Burress Mexican carry. I like the "adjusting it in his holster" excuse to cover up the obvious negligence.

Anyone else notice that the white box he was carrying was full of donuts? This guy is going to pick up some choice nicknames for life from his cop buddies.

Be safe handling firearms. Even if you don't accidently shoot yourself or someone else, the resulting ridicule is forever - especially when there is an internet video.

Wait. This can't possibly be right. I thought that the police were the only people responsible enough to carry a firearm? Or does that responsibility magically disappear and reappear at the punch of a time card?
