I hope UVa and Phi Kappa Psi sue Rolling Stone's ass off.
There is absolutely no excuse for printing a story like that without TRIPLE checking the facts.

I hope the frat sues UVa's butt off. The libtard administration, led by that extreme Obamunist "President", reacted as shamefully as the Duke faculty did when their lacrosse team was libeled.

Now somebody needs to find out who on the Rolling Stone staff either couldn't get in or flunked out of UVa.
As for the Frat suing the school, while I agree the administration overreacted and I share your skepticism of the present President of the U, do not forget that the US DOJ is presently "investigating" many schools for Title IX violations, and UVa is one of them.

Loss of federal funds is a real possibility if they can't satisfy the feds that they aren't running some sort of den of iniquity where females are systematically victimized. Silly as it was, failure to take what the DOJ would see as decisive action would have had the feds crawling all over Mr. Jefferson's Grounds with fresh enthusiasm. The frat pretty much exists as an affiliated group at the pleasure of the U, so that suit would be ill-advised. But they definitely should sue the Magazine, and I think it should be a class-action suit with every member within 6 years or so of the date of the alleged event as a plaintiff.

IIRC one heavy lawsuit and Rolling Stone will be no more; they're hanging on by a thread financially.

If UVa had the courage and principles that Hillsdale College has, it would never have become dependent on the regime for money in the first place.
