Northern Virginia is so NOT the "Real Virginia" it's pathetic. Seriously, can we find a cut point, and give that POS to D.C.?

We tried, that remember? We ended up taking it back for some reason.

The problem with doing that is... I would have to move further south, and I already drive to far for work. Can't we just deport all the libs and take our state back? We can put up a tall fence at the border and have sniper towers every 1000 feet.

I vote we give Northern Va to Maryland.
To make the trade fair, I'll bet that eastern MD would join VA.

I'm sure the Eastern Shore would join with no hesitation. They're still pissed off that Shaffer called the ES a sh!thouse.

Well don't forget to look at the election maps. You'll need to give away Richmond and the Tide Water regions also. And Roanoke and Charlottesville... Don't blame it all on NoVA as major urban centers in the rest of Dixie vote the same way..

Richmond can EASILY be converted back with the advent of restricting the amount of out of state kids can go to local colleges, and electing a couple "pro-gun" members into City Council.

Tidewater is Military Retirees. I have no idea WTH they're thinking.

I've proposed this before, but what would happen if someone put full page ads in the Maryland Newspapers, and on Maryland Billboards, and on Maryland Radio that said "Conservative? Work in D.C.? Why stay in MARYLAND!? Move to Virginia!" I did not know about the Eastern Shore insults to MD.

Roanoke, and Charlottesville are examples of Sh't spreading because Carpetbaggers are a VIRUS!

I don't disagree with Roanoke and Charlottesville, but it is difficult to give away bad areas that are surrounded by good areas. Northern VA is easier to get rid of because it is on an edge.

Roanoke is specifically gerrymandered for Dems, just as the surrounding counties are gerrymandered for Republicans.

NoVA is needed as a buffer. If it was annexed to Maryland the hoipaloi would just move deeper south to avoid the stench of now Maryland. Do you want to be invaded by heathen Subaru driving vegan butch hair cut things or keep NoVa?

I've always thought that Fredericksburg was the buffer. Or maybe it's actually the border.

Its kind of iffy... 610, 17 and 3 are three phase transition demarcation.

Or, maybe its west of 29, south of 66 down to 17. I don't know. LOL

Hey there now! There may be only a couple of us here but don't count us out. The more I speak to folks on Princess Anne street and the surrounding neighborhoods the more I realize that there are more of us here than you might think. Open carry is alive and well on local streets and the locals couldn't care less from what I can tell. There isn't a single "No guns Allowed" sign on ANY of the local shops as well as the chain shops.

We aren't the buffer. We're pushing the frontier here in Fredericksburg despite the anti 2nd amendment folk and the Fortress of Liberal thought known as UMW.

Be well!

Instead of throw NOVA to communists, better do what your ancestors have done: conquer it. Better jobs, better pay, so move here and throw the commies out. Then we can do the same with Maryland. Take your country back. I'm here to help you.

Two points, I look at it like a tear drop in reverse, Surround D.C. with the point of the tear drop at Fredricksburg...

And Kelu? One does not stand in the middle of a fire to pee on it to put it out... You move OUTSIDE the fire, and cut off it's fuel, and oxygen.
