When I lived in Williamsburg, a couple of years ago, I used to to WMA in Charles City County. But, that's long gun only, andnow it requires a hunting llicense or a fee.
There are a few ranges in Newport News. I shot at one, once, but I don't recall which one, or what the cost was. My friend picked up the tab.
As far as I know, Williamsburg has no ranges, nor does Lightfoot, Croaker, Toano, etc.

I'm from Williamsburg. Only two ranges close by.
First would be the Marksman on Industrial Blvd in Newport News. I stay away from them. They were price gouging after the 2012 Elections and their range is poorly ventilated.
Then there's Superior Pawn and Gun on West Mercury Blvd. I prefer this range, just be careful of the folks who come in. One handed shooting, ghetto grip etc.

Hello. I'm new hear but thought a comment may help. I live in West Point and the West Point Gun club is a private range that is setup very nicely. It is available 7 days a week. I will post a link. Hope this has been helpful. Peace
