Stopped by HV Arms in Fredericksburg yesterday to pick up a new serpa for my SD40VE, while I was in there the guy mentioned that he had new Gen 2 Diamondback DB380 for $200. The wheels began turning looking at a new handgun in the case for $200 that wasnt a hi point. I had my kids with me so I headed on back home. Decided to do a little research :coffee: and from what i read most said that the DB380 (especially the gen 2) is a decent firearm and the DB9 falls more under the category of a overpriced paperweight. So i caved and headed back to HV and picked up my new DB380 for $212 out the door. Havent had a chance to put any rounds through it yet but i couldnt pass it up for a $200 gun. Im pretty sure he still has more of these in stock for what I think is a great price if anyone is interested, here is their site http://www.hvarms.com the price on the website is a few dollars more that their in store price.

I have not been lucky enough to get a firearm for that low of a price.

They are out there, just hard to find. That's the cheapest I have ever seen that particular gun new.

Don't knock the hi point as it is the most accurate and reliable pistol there is for under 200 bucks. I have 3 of them and have never had an issue. Not the prettiest girl on the dance floor but at least she will dance. I have had more problems with my more expensive handguns than I have had with any hi point.

I am glad that you got that gun for a good price. I bought a DB380 and the front sight fell off on the 21st round. I also had some feeding problems before this. DB customer service was terrible. My LGS was willing to give me store credit for the DB. Hopefully mine was just a lemon and yours is gold.

I hope it works out well for you, I have bought some sub-200$ guns and was very happy when I tried them out, let us know how yours works out?
