The media is making a mountain out of mole hill. The can successfully treat it, and get this, and usually do about several times a year. It's only a problem in third world countries. Not that it isn't dangerous, just not as dangerous as they are making it out to be.

Per the CDC, it has an 88% fatality rate in the USthats pretty darn bad, bud.

MGMT is the part of HQ I work for. I wonder how I missed that. I'll have to see if its on our intranet site and I just overlooked it. Looks like it was released while I was on vacation, so I likely did.
Anyway... we are always under prepared for just about everything. My question is, with Health and Human Services / United State Public Health Service taking up more than 35% of the annual federal budget, why would DHS be required to take the lead on this? HHS/USPHS should take the lead and coordinate with other federal and state agencies to make it happen. That's their job... not DHS.
