I was talking to a buddy of mine yesterday, and he told me about this article that he had read about Walmart hoarding .22 for Black Friday sales. Apparently, Walmart wants to entice men to partake in Black Friday. I did some Googling, and I think I found what he was talking about. I don't know about you guys, but I ain't that hard up for .22. And, even if I was, it's going to take a whole lot more than some hard to come by ammunition, to get me out in that ridiculous and deadly madness. Maybe if Walmart was selling of massive fleets of fully functional Sherman tanks. ...

The Black Friday Sale was yesterday, not November 28th. We missed it already.

Well, okay... somebody missed it yesterday. Me and my buddy Scott hit walmart up after the range yesterday. They had a ton of ammo including the ever elusive 22LR. I didn't buy any though. I'm making a bulk buy of either 1,500 or 2,000 rounds next week. If they shop has some 22LR then, I'll grab some there. I'll probably get a better price than what wally world had it for.

The only thing thing worse than not having any 22lr is suffering through Black Friday to get 22lr. No thanks. Since getting out of retail years ago I've been fortunate enough to sleep in that day and 22lr won't change that.

I hate going to Walmart on a normal day...much less on black Friday.

Who doesn't love Wal-Mart??

I never saw yesterdays Black Friday sale advertised. Neither did my wife.

All I want, Federal "Blue Box" .22LR Hollowpoints in the 525 box for the REGULAR price of $20

I was in the Wal-Mart on Saturday off of Liberia Av. and they had the 100 round bricks of CCI 40 grain for $7.45 a brick limit 3, so of course I buy 3 bricks. I asked the sales clerk when they got them in and he said Friday but had kept them covered until 0900 Saturday so that folks would have a chance at them. When I got mine they still had about 25 - 30 bricks left. He said that they are scheduled to start getting them in on a regular basis now.

"One sporting goods department manager I spoke with says that he has some twenty-thousand rounds of .22LR wrapped on pallets sitting in the back of his store, with more on the way."

I haven't seen any .22LR in any Walmart for a while....Would really like to see some .22 Mag. !!!

Mmmmm.... would love a Sherman tank.
