Hello, new to NVA

Hello,
I'm a few months new to Northern Virginia from CO. I'm currently a student on the path to applying to grad school. I've competed in 3-gun competitions (mostly small local club matches) for the past couple years. Typically, I shoot AR-types and polymer pistols (glock, M&P, etc) but probably have the most fun just busting clays.
The first thing I'm going to do is use the search function to try to find an easy-going public range to zero a rifle or two; I've done some light searches, but have been a bit discouraged to see mostly private ranges with membership waiting lists. I also saw the thread where someone helpfully supplied this link: http://www.myvssa.org/content/where-shoot-virginia and am slowly going through that, trying to find a place near fairfax county (my location).
Anyways, looking forward to hanging out here and getting to know you all!
