questions:
1) Is there a full time RO?
2) Do you have to bring both targets AND stands? Can you bring ANYTHING to be shot up (like old TVs) or does it have to be an actual 'target'.
3) How often is the cease fire?

Yes they have a RO
You can bring your stands and targets and the day we went we had brought a couple of pumpkins but I think that they will draw the line at TV's and anything like that with glass. There were Tennite being shot that day as well.
The RO will call a Cease Fire as requested.

Oh I forgot they have Steel targets at the 100 yard line I think there are 3 of them for all to shoot. I put adhisve (stick on ) targets and it seemed that everyone shot at it so I did not get a good target, but that is okay those folks could not hit thier Tennite targets at the 100 yard area but I could. it is really kind of an open shoot with no lanes.

wow… so it's a free for all? Obviously if I bring my own steel people won't just shoot at my targets?
I was curious if the set up was similar to Clark Bros where they had fencing for you to staple your paper targets to.

No fencing or anything like that but you can put your target stands up in front of your area at any distance and your targets should be safe. I had spinners up for my daughters .22 at 50 yards and no one shot at it. It is just the general use steel targets that are open game and they are all on the 100 yard line. you might want to bring a table and chair with you and shade as there is only a line in the dirt for the firing line. It is a fun day of shooting for $15 a person have fun.

Brian have you signed up yet to go to the Meet and Greet on the 6th yet? We can talk more there about it then and maybe set a day to go up to the Cove and have fun shooting.

Taggure,
Thanks so much for your responses! I'm still trying to see if I'm free that Saturday…between family outings, promised baseball games, etc…
Eitherway, going out to the COVE has been something I'm trying to do … Hopefully I can make it out Sept 6th and we can connect, but either way, I'm game!
