how y'all doing?

I will probably come back to this at some point.

For now. I am male, married no kids but working on it. I really like playing guitar and guns. My favorite is my 1911 that is my carry gun. I also collect knives.

I am a very unapologetic conservative and in spite of my democratic party affiliation I am often called to the right of Ted Cruz. I know someone will ask how can I be a democrat. Reason is family tradition and only family tradition. I think the modern party is a disgrace the way they have went to the left and anti-American.

Everything that seems to be bad for the country the democrats seem to support.

If my posts offend anyone I am sorry. If a mod or board owner has an issue please let me know and I will tone it down. I am cool with everyone, but am not afraid to point out facts. When they involve race, religion, illegal immigration and topics like that many people seem to forget that facts are never racist. They might be inconvenient, but facts are facts.

I believe our current admin will lead the country to a war between the states, revolution, race or class war.

Good to be here.

Also could someone tell me how to change the things at the bottom. I was not in the military and for some reason all those icons are on there. I do support the military, but don't want people thinking I am a false valor stealer.

As for the badges, click on the User Control Panel link and under the Profile tab you can select "No" to the various military questions.

So you are a DINO (Democrat In Name Only). That's OK, there are plenty RINO's too. You will heal in time :)

I know a lot of pro gun Democrats. Republicans keep destroying themselves on Social issues.

I won't boggle the thread with specifics but I am a staunch Republican but I will vote for anyone who's is for smaller Government and ultimately more freedom.

I updated your profile and assumed that the NRA badge should remain. "First Name" is required when updating your profile, which is why it wouldn;t let you save changes. You can put your first initial there if you're not comfortable entering your first name. I placed a "1" there for now. Leave it there if you want... The idea is to help folks to be on a first-name basis here.

In any case - welcome aboard! :welcome:

Sounds liked you'll fit right in. I knew a member of "The Greatest Generation" whose sobriquet was "blue dog", and he was a fine feller indeed (may he rest in peace). So I'm intrigued by your screen name and wonder what the story behind it is. It's the sort of nickname you'd expect to encounter out here in the southwest mountains.

Well I am a democrat by tradition. There used to be conservative democrats like Zell miller, but no more. I have keep the name democrat because of family traditions dating to the 1850s, but vote republican for the most part. I did write myself in last year in an an election that only a democrat was running.

I partially got it because most of my friends are really amazed there is a conservative democrat out there. People often get amazed that i am only in my late 30s.

I was born several decades too late.
