Remington 870 MADNESS

Just a little something I wanted to play around with. Now one of my 870s handles almost like an AR, but boy does it hit with authority. :BFG: It is on par with my 458 socom for recoil but muzzle rise is almost a non-issue. This receiver is going back in the bullpup and I am putting my 870 with a 3.5" receiver in this setup and cutting the barrel down from 23" to 20" then it will be about the same overall length (~42") as a 20" AR.

The bullpup only fits 3" receivers and is a little slow to reload but it definitely "high speed low drag" at moving through rooms

I'm not usually a fan of the bullpup design, but that just looks badass!

It is a Bullpup Unlimited 870 kit. The only real down side to it IMO is the cost ~$275, if you shop around.

Here is the thrid one. I forgot about it. I must be getting old :wheelchair: It is a 28" barrel with a +5 round tube which give it a 9+1 round count. It has more ammo capacity then my 1911.

It must be obvious at this point, that I am a Magpul fanboy.

I have had some issues with 3" shells, but 2 3/4" work almost 100% of the time, mostly it is people short stroking the gun. When you put the stock around the receiver you need to really take your time because it can cause ejection issues it not fitted correctly.

Other then that and a slightly slower reload speed over normal shotguns I think it is a worth it, still cheaper then a KSG...(If you can find one) If you use one of the "Wal-Mart Tactical" 870s ~$250 (that is what I paid for it).
