Hi, I just joined, in looking to purchase a AR 15 for myself and a 25mm or 9mm small handgun for my wife (yes I know never buy your wife a handgun LOL) It's been 30 years since I owned a gun, am located in Leesburg, travel all over the country.
I'm looking for a M4 style AR 15, around $1000, all ideas for a first AR 15 are appreciated.

Dude, your wife is going to look HOTT with a 25mm handgun. I am not so sure if you know how large a 25mm handgun is, so I am going to go find you a picture of one.
That is a 25 mm gun. I tell you what. If a woman pulled that out on me, I would DEFINITELY run. I think that you have made a good choice in choosing a weapon for your wife. She will definitely be safe.

Easy mistake to make - saying 25mm instead of .25 Caliber - especially with 9mm in the same sentence.
