Couple of decades ago, Australia had a mass shooting, similar to Columbine or Newtown. And Australia just said, well, that’s it, we’re not doing, we’re not seeing that again, and basically imposed very severe, tough gun laws, and they haven’t had a mass shooting since.
Our levels of gun violence are off the charts. There’s no advanced, developed country that would put up with this.
As the NR points out, the data does not support the President's claim.

If he likes Australia so much he can go live there. He seems to enjoy vacations on the whole, I recommend a permanent one.

Its a damn shame when the President of the United States doesn't know that you can't walk into a store and buy a gun without a background check. Especially when he is the highest ranking official in the US government trying to champion gun control efforts.
How the heck can you complain about something you clearly have no idea about?

Somebody should have asked him if it was true that "you can walk into a store and buy a gun without a background check" in all 57 states.

We don't have a president in the White House. Only a boy with the misguided power to screw this Country up to a point where we won't recognize it any more. This POS is surrounded by guns - for his protection. Whats the difference in him being protected and any one of us being protected?
He can move to Australia, or to his native Kenya where his village is missing it's idiot.
