"The State of Georgia has just signed an unprecedented new law that removes all handgun carrying and possession permissions to allow lawful residents the ability to carry their concealed firearms just about everywhere including schools, churches, government buildings, nightclubs and bars. The National Rifle Association hails it as the “most comprehensive pro-gun reform legislation introduced in recent state history.”

Critics have appropriately dubbed it the “Guns Everywhere Bill,” with former Rep. Gabrille Giffords (D-AZ) calling it the “most extreme gun bill in America.”

But proponents of the legislation say it’s exactly what residents need to protect themselves from criminals."

Wow that is awesome. Thought I would drop this off here. I am happy to hear of this bill. Hopefully a lot more states follow suit.

Crime in the state of Georgia will drop radically I predict. I would love to see the violent crime rate in Atlanta before and after on this.

I think the cries of "blood in the streets" from anti's will soon be proven wrong. Much to the disappointment of Bloomberg and his cronies.

The only place in Georgia that has a serious crime problem is Atlanta, and that's because they have an influx of carpetbaggers.

I'm vacationing in Helen Georgia this summer. Why? because it's an Alpine village with people that talk like me! Rock-n-Roll folks!

Thanks for sharing. I've been to Germany once to visit family and would love to go back. Especially during Oktoberfest. I believe I may plan a visit to GA. Have a good trip!

Wow... someone finally gets it. Getting back to roots with Constitutional carry. Good for them. Just get rid of CHP's and let everyone carry concealed and it would be perfect.

Every state needs to do this before they all end up like Chicago Il.

Actually, it's not unprecedented.
Utah has had almost all but one prevision all along.
And their school carry law is probably the best in the country.
The first post in this thread has the comparison:

In some ways, I think some States are finally seeing the Fed as the threat it really is, and are working to get them back to their deferred status to the States Rights.
