That's a great, insightful article. Localities and states have the constitutional power to establish a police force - but not the federal government. I wonder if that question would ever reach the SCOTUS?

So, if the constitution doesn't give the US government the power to create law enforcement agencies, but rather restricts or prevents it, how the hell did we end up with so many damned Federal Police agencies???
I get more and more P.O.'ed the more this whole thing goes on. WFT?

Because Woodrow Wilson declared the Constitution obsolete and the "Progressives" have held to that position, virtually unchallenged, ever since.
