The secretary told the president that the March 31 deadline for sign-ups under the health care law — and rising enrollment numbers — provided an opportunity for change, and that he would be best served by someone who was not the target of so much political ire, Mr. McDonough said.

She just turned 65 so she can soon enjoy Social Security and especially Medicare or what will be left of it by the time her former boss-man finishes with it.
Now if we can just get Eric Holder to follow her example. Er, how long is the statute of limitations for violation of Federal gun laws?
Yuk, Yuk

She did her job well and now she'll take her golden parachute ride to a comfy retirement. Meanwhile, the rest of us have to live with the thing that she helped put in place.
Tell me again why I should be celebrating her departure?

You get "free" birth control thanks to her.

Which is nice.

Maybe that birth control deal ain't totally useless. Your 26-year old daughter can use it while she's still on your health care plan. After all, we wouldn't want anything to interfere with a young lady's right to be as amoral and licentious as the good liberal democrat the government schools raised her to be, would we? Now, tell the truth, Kreutz, don't that just make you feel all warm and fuzzy and grateful to your benevolent masters in DC?

Retirement? My money is on a cushy K Street job as a DC lobbyist within the next 365 days. Gotta keep that revolving door spinning.

Oh, I don't doubt that's part of the deal that enticed some to sign on, but it's usually about the $.
Sebelius was a creature wholly owned and created by the insurance companies, I have a hunch the reason she put that in (mandatory coverage of birth control) was because it's a fantastic deal for her masters.
Premiums go up around 10%-30% (often hundreds of dollars per policy) to cover a drug that costs
at most $10.00 a month cash.
Sounds like a win to me for some, and a loss for everyone else.
Look not always to DC for your problems; never forget Wall St is often waiting for DC to finish with you for it's turn at a screw.

Saw on the news this morning that Sebillius is going to delay her resignation until after she's been on the federal payroll for 5 years ...... so she can collect one of those fat federal pensions.

It's called public service for a reason; the public serves you, for life.
