Zany question for the forum.

I'm wondering if dual-citizenship would have any impact on concealed carry permit renewal and/or purchasing firearms?

I'm a born-and-raised US citizen, regular purchaser of guns, and a CHP holder in VA. I also qualify for dual-citizenship in Ireland.

A US Citizen is a US Citizen. If you are also a citizen somewhere else that makes no difference unless that affiliation somehow causes you to lose your US Citizenship. Then you would longer be a US Citizen.

You'd have to give up your U.S. Citizenship to have any issues.

BTW, a CHP is limited to citizens of permanent residents can have it too?
