Car holster

Anyone else have a holster mounted in their car? I'm considering mounting something solidly in my center console of a mazda Cx9. Interested in neat ideas -- and photos.

I have a Black Flamingo Tactical holster mounted in my truck on the transmission hump. Works like a dream.

The why is simple. For many of us, we cannot carry everyday. Maybe I can't carry at work and don't often make stops coming to or from work but would like to have quick access while driving. Ideally you do three things.
1. You mount it in a place it's easily concealed, such as under a seat or in a glove glove box. That way it's not an issue if pulled over and it's not stolen.
2. You dedicate that gun to that spot so you aren't constantly messing with a gun removing it from your waist holster and putting it into your car holster.
3. Use a holster with level two retention such as an SERPA or ALS. That way the gun doesn't become a hazard in the event of a cash.
As for me? I carry in an ALS paddle holster and I just remove the whole holster with the gun in it and put it in the glove box which is completely empty specifically for that reason.
