Just a dusting in Roanoke; schools were closed naturally.

We got 6 inches or so in northern VA. I spent an hour or two shoveling and getting the snow off the cars, then shoveling again after the plow came through (I wish they would just leave the snow in the street and let us drive over it instead of making a wall and blocking our cars in). Overnight low here is supposed to be about 4 F, so it will be a cold drive in to work tomorrow at 0500. Life is good.

Well, technically you make poke sallet out of pokeweed leaves. But I can understand your concern. If we call it "weed" these days this younger generation is liable to burn down the woods trying to smoke it.
