This will be very interesting to follow.

The Ninth Circuit has spoken. The Second Amendment still lives on the left coast.

That was welcome but unexpected. The 9th Circuit has had a reputation of being the most left wing of the Federal Appealate courts.

With other Federal Circuit courts ruling the opposite, seems likely it will go to the Supreme Court.

I don't see what's so hard to understand. It says "right to keep and bare arms", not right to keep and bare arms, but just in your house. It doesn't say right to keep and bare arms as long as you have a good excuse and even then maybe not.

This is the shortest, most direct of all amendments, yet gets twisted and abused based on a BS interpretation more than all others.

That's because they know the 1A only as "free speech" and they don't know any of the other amendments so in that regard the 2A is the most complex.

The Ninth making a correct decision explains all this snow. Hell froze over so bad the snow just backed up and emptied out on Earth too.

The Ninth is also the most overturned court in the land. So this decision is far from done.

Don't cheer too loud yet. CA's AG Kamala Harris will most likely drag this one up to the Supreme Court.

On a side note- when two top offices in CA went to candidates that both came from San Francisco (AG and Lt Gov) I knew CA was lost forever. And these people are NOT moderates of any kind. Gavin Newsom? Kamala Harris? Read up on them and their ultra-left views.

There is another significant word there; SHALL. From the dictionary, the relevant definition is:
..........................................
2a —used to express a command or exhortation <you shall go>

b —used in laws, regulations, or directives to express what is mandatory <it shall be unlawful to carry firearms>
............................................
It is ironic, and probably shows the anti-gun bias of academia, that the example for use in a sentence of this well-settled statutory/regulatory use of "SHALL" cites the PROSCRIPTION of forearms; but the Framers surely used "SHALL" in conjunction with NOT in this same sense; to mean: It is MANDATORY that you NOT infringe TRTKABA.

If, by some odd chance, I happen upon anyone actually capable of holding intelligent conversation while I'm out here in Commifornia, I'll have to bring this up in conversation.

As it is, when I am out here, I wear my 2A hat and a shirt that's either pro2A or pro- eating-yummy-animals.
