Connecticut Gun Owners - Ongoing Civil Disobedience

I love it... Connecticut state’s top official in criminal justice said an aggressive push to prosecute gun owners in the state is not going to happen.
...the most conservative estimates place the number of unregistered assault weapons well above 50,000, and perhaps as high as 350,000

When it comes to gun control there are no state boundaries. Brothers in arms will fight to defend their freedom.

Guess they figure if all the guns are registered they'll all stay home and won't participate in any mass shootings. Just the perps will show up pointing their fingers and shouting "Bang, bang-bang-bang!" Knowing where the guns are, how is that going to stop someone from committing these crimes? Just sets the stage for confiscation. No other reason for it.

:first:  :first:

THAT is how you solve bad laws! Civil Disobedience! Because as we ALL know! Politicians never solved anything but how to fill their empty pockets.

Good, I didn't know that such behavior would be successfully executed. Can they handle, as a group, a crackdown? They might not try it now but piece by piece they'll try to get them.

I would be willing to guess that there are going to be a lot of unfortunate boating accidents and out-of-state storage going on when the police start "interviewing" people.

Then they need to get on juries if any arrests go to trial and nullify, nullify, nullify.

Now THAT is how you tell someone off in politics!

"Barack Obama supports the 2nd Amendment about as much as Adolf Hitler appreciated Jewish culture, or Joe Stalin believed in individual liberty. Believe what politicians do, not what they say."

AMEN TO THE ABOVE!

Call me massa!

http://www.wnd.com/2014/03/gun-grabbing ... he-master/
A citizen’s phone call to Connecticut state police about a letter ordering gun owners to dispose of their unregistered so-called “assault” weapons and standard-capacity magazines is sending shockwaves through the national gun-rights community after being recorded and posted online.

The woman on the call, who goes by the name Guerrilla girl Ashley and asked WND not to publish her last name, told Vance that her husband had received a letter from state authorities after failing to register his firearm by the statutory deadline.

The caller then asks if the officer took an oath to the Constitution.

“Did I take an oath to the Constitution?” responds Vance, who earned national notoriety in the aftermath of Sandy Hook. “What bearing does that have on this conversation?”

“I don’t want to talk about the Constitution, Ma’am, at all, at all,” he adds before Ashley suggests that officials were threatening families into compliance with an unconstitutional statute.

“It sounds like you’re anti-American, it sounds like you’re anti-law,” Vance says, clearly becoming frustrated with the caller, who insists she is “pro-American.”

Eventually, with both call participants getting riled, Ashley lashes out.

“You’re going to speak to me this way, somebody that pays your salary?” she asks. “You’re a servant, you serve me. … You can refuse to follow unlawful orders!”

“Just remember, you’re the servant, we’re the masters, OK?” she adds.

Vance responds by saying: “I’m the master, Ma’am, I’m the master.”

I ain't going anywhere with that tool.

That man needs a different job. One far away from people. He is clearly unfit for any law enforcement role.

Saber rattling begins...

http://bearingarms.com/connecticut-cop- ... r-door-in/
Last year, Navy veteran and firefighter John Cinque warned Connecticut lawmakers in advance that he would not comply with any law that requires him to register his firearms. Connecticut lawmakers didn’t listen, passed a law demanding registration, and now find themselves looking at a law that 80,000-100,000 citizens have rightfully ignored.

At least one Branford, CT, cop is itching to try to enforce Connecticut’s blatantly unconstitutional gun ban, and has told Cinque that he “cannot wait to get the order to kick your door in.

”There are 1,120 State Police in Connecticut. There are less than 7,000 local police officers. Branford itself has just 51.

That was fast...

http://www.branfordseven.com/news/local ... f6878.html
Branford Police have launched an Internal Investigation into the allegations that an officer made written comments during a Facebook conversation that has alarmed citizens’ after the comment was posted publicly on the internet. The comment was made between the complainant and the officer, while off duty, during a fervent debate between the two over current and proposed gun laws.
The officer in question is Joe Peterson, who engaged in a heated debate on Facebook regarding gun control with a series of Facebook “friends.”

In screenshots posted on a national right leaning blog Freedom Outpost, Peterson can be seen clearly engaging in a heated Facebook debate on gun control. At one point Peterson posts "I give my left nut to bang down your door and come for your gun."
"I give my left nut to bang down your door and come for your gun."?

Grammar are good.

I'm sorry, but arresting people or taking any action based on a bogus unconstitutional law and violating peoples rights because your C.O. told you too doesn't fly. Every human has the choice.

My biggest fear is that honest, lawful citizens are going to die because of cops and politicians like the jerks pulling this crap.

If a civil war were to start, I would not have guessed Connecticut as the location of the first shot... Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, or even Virginia, maybe.

This could get interesting. Could be that reset button Kreutz asked for.

Or, it could fizzle out. We'll see.
