New gun owner in NoVA

For the longest time, I was apprehensive about owning a firearm. But things that have happened in the recent past have lead me to believe that I must be prepared, in case there was a need. Off I went to the local arsenal and took an intro class, followed by a couple of times on the range with a rental. I still need to work on my breathing technique and overall steady hands and all my basics a lot more !!!
I've always enjoyed the forums for my various hobbies/activities in the past.
