We still have 16 places available at the Lynchburg Appleseed on June 21-22. The event is actually at the Izaak Walton League park in Amherst, a little north of Lynchburg. It's a beautiful spot.
Bring the whole family and your friends!

Eleven spots still available at the Appleseed clinic at Izaak Walton League in Amherst. The weather is expected to be beautiful if a bit warm.
Where else can you spend a weekend with nice people, learn the skills of long-range marksmanship in the proper pre-1965 military method, get re-inspired with a strong dose of American Revolution history like they don't teach it any more, for only $60/adults and $20 for youth under 18, or free (Active Military, Reserve, and Guard, Peace Officers, Disabled, (each require ID), Re-enactors in period dress, Elected officials)?
Many of us often spend that on dinner and a bad movie. This is a great event for families and friends, and beginners are more than welcome.
Do you know the real story of Paul Revere? Do you know whose portrait is the official symbol of the National Guard? Do you know who Isaac Davis was? How about Samuel Whittemore (the only official Hero of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts)? How about Prudence Wright? Do you know who told the Americans that the British army was going to attack Concord, Mass ? Do you know who fired the first shot on Lexington Green?
You will know these things, and more, by Sunday afternoon if you come to the shoot.

Sorry I missed that...but the dates still apply as I modified them. I just went down the list and when I saw Appleseed I applied the times. Just got them yesterday. Thanks.
