That is awesome! My question is this... will there be mass confiscation? Will there be arrests? Will gun owners rally together against the state?

I know people in CT who are giving two big middle fingers to the state.

So... confiscation. ..

These folks don't appear inclined to register their weapons. But, they'll hand them over to the guys at the door?

Might start a war.

(shrugs) The problem? They're going after gun owners one at a time. Probably "SWAT/MILITARIZE" up the local police, maybe some ATF guys... bust into the house, threaten everyone, and then seize the property.

It's not going to be obvious, but it'll start, and the media will just play the gun owner as the "badguy" because he didn't "comply".

They arrest a marine for FACEBOOK posts, and it's taken forever for him to clear his name. We're not posting crazy sh't. We're just refusing to comply with an unconstitutional order.

But the cops they're going to get won't see it that way.

Yea, that arrest was 100% BS. I still can't believe it. That is the type of tyrannical behavior the founding father wanted to escape. It almost reminds me of Cuba or N. Korea.

It does indeed raise questions of what will happen regarding the rest of the country with concerns over those citizens located in CT.

ehh, I'm sure all of those fine outstanding law-abiding citizens are simply storing their legally owned and purchased personal property outside the jurisdiction of the communist dictator bastards trying to deny them their God given and Constitutionally recognized rights.

Once the next election cycle is over and the act is repealed, the citizens will bring their property back in state.


EDIT:

Any person found with an unregistered assault weapon or magazine in the state after Jan. 1, 2014 is looking at a $90 fine for the first offense. Subsequent violations can be classified as a class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison and/or a $5,000 fine.

I hope to god this is massive non-compliance! That said, it wouldn't be the first the time the government had bad data and statistics.

I hope they teach their government a lesson.

Good for them if this is noncompliance,,,,they need to fight the threats to their gun rights every way they can,,,
