Golden and Zimmerman at Nations Gun Show

I went to the Nations Gun Show at the Dulles Expo this evening. I was thinking about getting an XDM .40 but did not have my mind made up. Before hitting the show, I called some local dealers for their prices and checked a couple of Internet sites, so I knew the street price. I had circled the floor twice, found several XDM .40's, but while some dealers had low prices and many dealers did not, I somehow talked myself out of it.
As I was heading for the door, I passed one dealer I seemed to have missed before. He had an XDM .40 for $55 below local retail and the lowest price I had seen on the floor. As I was looking at the gun, the dealer walked over and said, "I'm a member of the Virginia Citizens Defense League too." He had spied my cap. "I tell you what, I'll throw in an extra magazine." I hesitated for a bit, and so he threw in 50rds of ammo as well. DEAL!
It was Golden and Zimmerman LLC out of Ivor, VA. Not only did they have a great price and extras, but they provided a table and chairs just for filling out the paperwork, which beats the heck out of standing in the aisles with a clipboard. And Jim Golden, the owner, sat with me and chatted while we waited on the background check. Nice guy. I gotta give them a thumbs up on price and salesmanship. If you make it to the gun show, check them out -- look for the paperwork table.
