SC Bill to Nullify Obamacare

State nullification is a power that is far underused. The bill has already passed the Republican House and is on to the Republican Senate and then the Gov's desk. Unfortunately it doesn't tackle the big pieces like the new 29.5 hour work week or still having to pay the fine if you opt not to have insurance.
The bill’s main component prohibits agencies, officers and employees of the state of South Carolina from implementing any provisions of the Affordable Care Act, leaving implementation of the national health-care law entirely in the hands of a federal government that lacks the resources or personnel to carry out the programs it mandates, reported the Daily Caller.

Talk about something that would get Holder's bowels in an uproar; I saw in the article where there was one measure under consideration that would revoke the SC licenses to sell insurance of any company that received Obamacare premium subsidies. THAT could provoke the kind of aggressive state/federal confrontation is what prompted that unpleasantness down at Fawt Sumptah.

The only way to stop Obamacare would be for states to not have their own exchange. However, the ramifications of that action will be a lawsuit filed by the DOJ in Federal Court.

In other words, you don't play ball and the Feds will break your kneecaps.

And then give you a crutch and say "See? You need the federal government. We fix problems!"
