I hunt down in Sumerduck on CF Phleps WMA but live up in Woodbridge and as to yet I have not had the luck of getting a deer, but I think this year is the year. Anyone know of any processors up around Woodbridge?
thanks

i would personally recommend a hunting club, the dues are generaly manageable. and save you a big headache, from hunting on public land
the main things i dont like about public land are that most people dont care if they mess up your time of hunting as far as walking around or even under your treestand, and also i will never hunt on public land during anything other then archery, ive come across to many careless hunters who dont pay attention to whats beyond whatever there shooting at.
and i just found the hunting clubs are alot easier, there always there if you need help processing your kill. and most dont charge as much if you just still hunt as opposed to still and running the dogs.
and they open up alot more land. but thats just my opinion ive belonged to a hunting club since for about 7/8s of my hunting life. so i might be a little partial but i personaly just think its the easiest way to go. and like i said most have reasonable rates. its something to think about.

I used bently's processing last year and was happy with what they did. Prices for a basic cut&wrap were reasonable, but you can get into significant money if you have alot of special (jerky, sausage, snack-stick etc..) processing done.

They are on garrisonville rd across from quantico.
